ANIMAL WILDLIFE

arizona actually has more types of rattlesnakes than texas! 17, to be precise. here is one, eating a rabbit.

there are also LOTS of scorpions here! young scorpions are born two at a time, then climb onto their mother's back and are carried there until their first molt about two weeks later.

here we have a screech owl. these are extremely cute and only about 8 to 9 inches long!

and last but not least for today the bat colony under the bridge at river and campbell leaving for their nightly hunt at around sunset.
